Capacity Building (City of Watsonville)

The Monterey Bay Regional Climate Project Working Group (RCPWG) is a collaborative of regional governments in the Monterey Bay Area that is actively advancing a coordinated, cross-jurisdictional approach to climate adaptation.

This project supports the group in identifying, prioritizing, and securing funding for high-impact adaptation projects that reduce climate risk to coastal communities and strengthen long-term regional resilience. The City of Watsonville, a member of RCPWG, administers the grant funds and contracts a selected vendor to carry out the work on behalf of the Working Group.
